Review: In Your Dreams by Sarah Adams (Release 12/30/2025)
I really enjoyed this final trip to Rome, Kentucky. This was a perfectly cozy small-town romance!

Marie Lu has brought her talent for richly developed worlds, with characters you can’t help but cheer on, and irresistible relationships to an adult audience.

Review: The Macabre by Kosoko Jackson (Release: 09/09/2025)
This book thrives in the shades of grey within the world and all of us.

Review: Loteria by Cynthia Pelayo (Release 09/02/2025)
I received an E-ARC of this story collection from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review I really enjoyed this collection! It was neat to see so many stories rooted in Hispanic folklore. I especially enjoyed the story surrounding the mythos of the seventh son. I’d definitely read more horror stories from

Review: Smile For the Cameras by Miranda Smith (Release 06/24/2025)
I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This book was so much fun. It was great to flip between past and present to get a better understanding of what brought these characters to this reunion and how each of them was approaching the idea.

Review: The Love Haters by Katherine Center (Release 5/20/2025)
This one was a much rougher read for me than any of her other books. While Katie and Hutch are cute, their romance is overshadowed by the depths of Katie’s body image issues. I really wish this book had come with a warning at the start for the amount of graphic discussion of body image

Review: The Corruption of Hollis Brown by K. Ancrum (Release 04/22/2025)
This book is full of such tenderness and I’m so glad that teens will have it, especially the recipes woven throughout the story. I thought that the recipes as a resource for kids in situations similar to those in Hollis’s town was such a nice touch in a story about community, and how survival depends

Review: Boys With Sharp Teeth by Jenni Howell (Release 04/08/2025)
I wanted to love this book so badly. I’m always looking for the next book that’ll crawl into my skin like The Raven Boys did. I found the pace of this book really difficult to sink into, and was unfortunately frustrated by the mismatch between marketing/cover and the story inside. While the comparison to The

Review: Prince of the Palisades by Julian Winters (Release 08/20/2024)
I received an eARC of this book from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I’ll admit that at times I was so frustrated with the character of Leon that I just wanted to put the book down, and I was deeply uncomfortable with the ways he didn’t seek consent from Jadon

Review: The Book of Elsewhere by Keanu Reeves and China Miéville (Release: 07/23/2024)
I received an eARC of this novel from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. The Book of Elsewhere is a somewhat mind-bending book. I was happily letting myself simply be pulled along by the story for most of its duration, but the closer to seeing the full picture I got, the
