Review: LEGO Heroes by Graham E. Hancock (Release 05/16/2023)

I received an eARC of this book from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I requested this book expecting an engaging book that would be accessible to all ages about the unique ways people were innovating with LEGOs. Instead, I got a book that was repetitive, poorly organized, and read at a similar level as my course materials as a graduate-level student. Most chapters repeated the same information in different ways again and again throughout the chapter. The reiteration of the LEGO system of play and how all LEGO forms are compatible with each other was excessive. I also felt that some of the chapters could’ve been combined into a more extensive chapter on the overarching way LEGOs were being innovated within that sphere, allowing the information to be easily grouped and potentially removing some of the repetitiveness.
