2010s style dystopia is back! Chloe Gong continues to be unbeatable in her YA novels. This book is best enjoyed going in as blind as possible.
It was so much fun to try to piece together how Lia and Eriale’s stories connected while they each showed us an aspect of the world they lived in. It’s been a bit since I was both this shocked and this gratified by a plot twist.
I immediately wanted to re-read the book once I finished and put it down. If Marie Lu’s Legend or Warcross series were ever your thing, you need to pick this one up! This book is a strong contender for my favorite of the year.
