Review: Godslayers by Zoe Hana Mikuta (Release 06/28/2022)
I received an eARC of this book from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. If you read Gearbreakers and loved it, you’ll likely enjoy this book too. I received an ARC of this book from the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Gearbreakers is a fast-paced debut sci-fi YA novel that asks the question of if there is any truly effective way to fight gods. I really enjoyed this book or the first 70% of it at least. I…

The Review: Underfoot Vol. 2 by Ben Fisher and Emily S. Whitten (Release 04/20/2021)
I received an uncorrected proof of this graphic novel from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed the ability to read this volume of the graphic novel directly after finishing volume one, and am now eagerly awaiting volume three. It is a solidly done book, a bit less gory than volume one,…

Review: The Underfoot Vol. 1 by Ben Fisher and Emily S. Whitten (Released 04/23/2019)
I enjoyed this graphic novel, the science notes between each chapter were a really cute touch. I would be a bit wary of recommending this to a younger child as the images can get a bit gory at times, so depending on how exposed a child has already been to cartoon violence would impact whether…
