I had really loved the Illuminae series when I read them recently, so I was excited to dive into another exploration of space with this author.
I unfortunately just didn’t love this one. Some of the action scenes were fun, and it definitely could be described as “Home Alone” but on Mars. I found some of the twists to be well-done, but I found that with the time that this book takes place over, the romance was a weak point because there just wasn’t enough time for it to truly develop.
It’s a fun adventure that I hope it finds its way into the hands of its audience, but it just didn’t land for me.
